Adam Milstein Charity Announced

The Adam And Gila Milstein Family Foundation disclosed the details about their upcoming “Inspired by Israel” video contest. The contest, a partnership of the foundation and 12Tribe Films Foundation, will be hosted and asks contestants to submit videos that educate, inspire, and entertain people about Israel. The grand prize will be $8,000 and the total amount of prizes given away will be $20,000. There will first be a round of public voting and then the top 10 prizes will be awarded by a panel of experts. This will be the second year that the contest has been held.

Adam Milstein said that in the prior year’s contest they had received more than 100 videos and over 500,000 views. The winner, “Superman’s Got Nothing On Israel”, was featured on various media such as the Jewish Journal and the Jerusalem Post.

Entries must be registered by February 1st and submitted by March 6th. The public will be able to weigh in on the videos entered into the contest March 20th to March 29th and the winner will be announced on April 30th.

The Adam and Gila Milstein Family Foundation was founded in 2000 by the couple in order to educate young professionals on Jewish and Israeli issues, help them identify with their Jewish roots, increase their Jewish pride, and build a personal connection with the State of Israel. Among its charitable activities the foundation issues grants in order to help college students fund on campus cultural events and campaigns.

In addition to being a philanthropist Adam Milstein is also a real estate developer. He is currently serving as a Managing Partner of Hager Pacific Properties. The company specializes in acquiring and rejuvenating older retail, industrial, and multi-family properties. He received his college education at the Technion- Israel Institute of Technology where he graduated with a degree in Industrial & Business Management, as well as getting his MBA in Entrepreneurship from the University Of Southern California – Marshall School of Business.
